Worldbook Online Link South America Map | 5th: ABC Westward Expansion Book Overview: We'll create a digital book using Pic Collage, Shadow Puppet and MyStory about Westward Expansion 1. We'll work with partners to gather facts about our topic in Notability. ?Maybe use the Westward Expansion app? 2. We'll then visually represent our topic by creating a PicCollage about the topic 3. We'll make a QR code linking our Pic Collage to our Shadow Puppet voiceover. | 6th: Constant Rate, Inequalities with Pyramids Overview: 1. Students will JIGSAW an infographic about pyramids. Students will take notes in Notabililty summarizing 3-4 main points from the infographic section they were assigned. 2. Students will determine the constant rate of how many bricks were laid per DAY, WEEK or YEAR - if it took 20 years to build the Great Pyramid of Giza with a total of 2,400,000 bricks. 3. They will then create an inequality on a number line representing some number value related to their pyramid from the infographic - For example: *Most pyramid bricks were larger than 12 inches long (x > 12) *See graphic and video below to learn more about inequalities |
