1. Kindergarten - ABC Book
- *App: My Story
- *Standard: L.K.1 Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.
- *Project Description: Students located letters in the school after having read the book, Alphabet City. Students utilized the "Camera" app, while focusing on zooming for clarity with images. Students next used the draw tools to write the upper and lower case letters on a page, along with inserting images from the camera roll. Lastly, students narrated each page by saying," A says _____, like _______."

2. 1st Grade - My Special Person
- *Apps: Comic Life, Draw Box Free, My Story
- *Standard: W.1.1 Write opinion pieces in which they introduce the topic or name the book they are writing about, state an opinion, supply a reason for the opinion, and provide some closure.
- *Project Description: Students completed a rough draft paragraph including an introduction about a special person they chose, a fact about him/her, an opinion about him/her and a reason to support the opinion. Finally, students wrote a conclusion. Once the rough draft was complete, they typed the final draft in the app, "Comic Life." They also drew a picture of their special person in the app, "Draw Box Free" and imported the image into their Comic Life poster. Finally, they exported the final poster into a page in the app, "My Story," and narrated the page using their rough draft.
