Twitter can help you reach a broader audience! Reach out to parents by using Twitter to share out student work, upcoming events, questions, quotes, photos, weblinks... since it only allows you 140 characters, it is like getting a quick "text" instead of a long email. Get started by following others (like me: @ipadsnmore or @gcouros -- one of my favorites!) and see how other educators are using it. Below are resources in getting started: contact forms in weeblyUse a contact form to gather information from your parents on your Weebly page. This can be a great way to learn more about your students at open house, or a field trip, etc. Every text box is modifiable, so you have freedom to change it however you choose. The entries get emailed to you right away. Below is a sample form I added to my page for you to view.
